PARENTS

Some educators and administrators do not view students’ health and wellness as part of their core mission. They feel that teaching nutrition and physical activity are not a part of their responsibilities. Therefore, parents must break down this disconnect and direct their concern into meaningful action. Parents are willing to get their hands dirty because they are on the ones who see the direct benefits. Attached below is research emphasizing the benefits that parents would receive if they are advocating for health and physical education in schools.
